Covid-19 Update
In order to help keep our community and our team healthy and safe, all clinic services currently require an appointment. Our lobby is closed to the public as we operate curbside only. Due to the volume of appointment requests, confirmation may take up to 48 hours.
Please note: if you are making a wellness appointment for multiple pets, please email appointments@sopines.org instead of booking online.

All the basics, one convenient package!
Routine vaccinations are an easy, inexpensive way to protect your cat or dog against deadly infectious diseases that are still prevalent today. At the Southern Pines Healthy Pet Clinic, our low-cost wellness program makes getting vaccines for your pet more accessible than ever. The wellness packages that we offer include core vaccines recommended for cats and dogs, as well as a nail trim and dewormer. Additional services we recommend include heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, an annual fecal test, and a microchip.
For pets under six months of age, their vaccines can vary depending on how old they are and whether you choose a booster package. The rabies vaccine is administered to pets three months and older, so puppies and kittens younger than three months of age will not receive a rabies vaccine. If you choose a booster package, your pet will receive the necessary vaccine given every 3-4 weeks until the pet is 20 weeks of age. For puppies, this means they will receive a DHPP vaccine on their first visit, then return for 2-4 additional visits for the booster vaccine. For kittens, they will receive a FVRCP vaccine on their first visit, then return for 2-4 additional visits for the booster vaccine. We encourage all pet parents to consider choosing the booster package to provide your pet with the most protection from common diseases.

Request a MicrochipWe offer microchipping for $15 through Michelson Found Animals, a nonprofit organization that allows you to register and update your microchip information for free. A microchip is a form of identification that a pet cannot lose (unlike their collar) and is implanted between their shoulder blades. A microchip is not a GPS tracker, instead each chip contains a unique number that is registered in a database and is used to identify an animal when scanned at a shelter or veterinary clinic. That number is then used to look up the owner’s information so they can be contacted and reunited with their lost pet. Request a microchip in addition to your pet's wellness package.
